However, the cost to move a home is calculated by using the size of the home as well as the distance it needs to be transported (houses usually cannot be transported along the most direct route due to permit limitations and feasibility issues). Other costs that may be part of your house move are assistance charges from utility companies (i.e. power companies, phone companies, Railway companies, etc.). These costs vary according to the amount of work that is required by the assisting company. Each prospective house move is assessed by one of our estimators before an estimate is given out.
